We Are The DUVAL!
DUVAL is an band who’s music is both a new and unique sound but also draws from Funk/R&B, modern alternative rock, to early alternative rock.
DUVAL’s music is a soundtrack to life. Its a collage of fictional stories and charactors that are actually drawn from real people and true experiences. Maybe it’s not fiction after all.
DUVAL’s lineup has the premiere talent in Tulsa including drummer Mark Meeker, a man who has built a stellar reputation as an innovative and masterful player and creator, being a major contributor of rythmns, arrangements, etc. in the music.
On bass is Monty Anderson. Monty was sought out because of his dynamic playing and his skill and creativity arranging songs and writing a variety of parts to the songs.
On vocals is Todd Brandon. Not only does Todd bring great experiences and an amazing voice, he is the on stage persona of DUVAL. Todd also is a contributor to the writing and arranging of songs.
On guitar we have David DuVal. Also from Tulsa, Dave brings his own unique style of guitar playing and song creation. Dave is also the lyrisist of the group.
Meet the Masterminds Behind the Music
DUVAL boasts a lineup of Tulsa’s finest musical talents.
- Mark Meeker (Drums): A powerhouse percussionist with a stellar reputation for innovation and mastery. Mark’s contributions go beyond keeping the beat; his rhythmic arrangements and creative flourishes are integral to the band’s sound.
- Monty Anderson (Bass): Known for his dynamic playing and exceptional songwriting skills, Monty lays down the low-end foundation for DUVAL’s music. His ability to craft captivating bass lines and arrange songs ensures a tight and cohesive groove.
- Todd Brandon (Vocals): Todd brings more than just an amazing voice to the table. He’s a seasoned performer who embodies the heart and soul of DUVAL onstage. His experience, combined with his vocal prowess, makes him a captivating frontman. Todd’s songwriting and arranging skills also contribute significantly to the band’s creative process.
- David DUVAL (Guitar & Lyrics): Hailing from Tulsa himself, David injects his unique guitar style and songwriting sensibilities into DUVAL’s music. As the lyricist, he crafts the stories that resonate with fans, blurring the line between fiction and reality.
